This week is rough. And it is only Tuesday. Luckily I have memories from a really fun Sunday night to hang onto! I had some ladies from my MOPS group over (more on this in an entry later this week) and since I wanted some fun snacks for us but also needed something really easy because I am constantly exhausted these days. I knew it was the perfect opportunity to try a crockpot recipe I’d been eyeing for a while. While this was based on a recipe I found on Pinterest, I made some changes so I’m going to be blogging about my own spin on this.
This dip goes great with bread if you want it to be particularly pizza-like, but it is also an excellent addition to chips (which we always have around the house because we are salsa fiends!) and I’d guess you could put it over veggies if you wanted to be semi-healthy. But since the dip is basically pizza sauce and cheese… you may want to re-think using this recipe if healthy, low calorie treats are your focus right now…
Pizza dip:
1 jar pizza sauce (12 oz but if your jar or can is bigger or smaller just eyeball the rest of the mix and adjust accordingly)
1 and 1/4 Cup shredded Mozarella Cheese
3/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese
1 package Cream Cheese (8 oz)
1/2 tsp. Basil
a few shakes of Oregano and a dash of Rosemary
A few shakes of red pepper flakes depending on your preferred spice level
***Put all ingredients in the crock pot, heat on high for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally until cheeses are melted together, then turn the crock pot to low and let the dipping begin!****
This was such a simple recipe I didn’t even take pictures because I thought it would be too simple to blog about but when all the ladies that came over raved about it and then my husband ate up the leftovers in one night I knew I had to share! If you are going to a big party I highly recommend doubling the recipe because it might go fast!

Warning: this dip may be highly tempting to double dippers… have a utensil handy so guests can scoop some of that deliciousness onto a plate!
