Something that has been a unique part of my story is how I have become what I jokingly refer to as an “adult onset athlete” and what I mean by that is that if you told high school me- the me who would try so hard to miss the day in PE where we all had to run a mile and who believed theatre and sports were antithetical to each other that I would one day pay people lots of money to go run many many miles I would have told you that you had gotten lost and traveled to the wrong timeline, you must be talking about some other version of me out in the multiverse (my husband and I have been watching a lot of MCU TV shows and movies recently… can you tell? Anyway, back to the point of this post… I NEVER considered myself an athlete. Until… Continue reading
The Highs and Lows of a very Active Imagination…
Imagination- it is often underestimated. If you don’t believe me, I can walk you through many many “jokes” about my college degrees in theatre from people who think my skill sets learned there are useless. Imagination is powerful- but like any other tool it can be powerful in a creative or destructive way. Continue reading

What Is Your Superpower?!
When I was introducing the theme of I AM/ INIMITABLE last month, I referenced the quote “No one is you, that is your super power” and today I wanted to elaborate on that a bit. I am curious- have you taken the time to think about your unique super powers and how they might contribute to your world- both big picture World and also your everyday sphere of influence? I am often so busy wondering if I am living up to my (sometimes realistic) expectations and standards or to “fix” my weaknesses that I don’t stop to acknowledge my strengths- even those strengths that are occasionally a double edged sword. So today I wanted to share a few of what I consider to be my individual gifts or “superpowers” and I really hope I’ll hear from some of my readers either in the comments or in another way of reaching out about what YOUR superpowers are. So… here are ten books that sparked my imagination and helped me live a more intentional life (and a few honorable mentions)… Continue reading
February Tending List and a Peak at my 2022 Goals…
Every year I take some time in early December to do my Powersheets prep and look back at the progress I made that year and what I want to focus on during the next. I let all those ideas sit through the chaos of the holidays and revisit them the very end of December or early January to finalize my goals for the new year. Continue reading

All we have to decide …
One of my favorite quotes is from the Lord of the Rings: “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us” I love it so much I have had it on the front of past planners. I think about it often. Continue reading
I is for I AM, iambs, and incredible uniqueness…
I is for I AM. My official word/tag for this topic is “inimitable” after the Hamilton lyric “I am inimitable I am an original” For those of you who understood the word in context but maybe haven’t looked up the actual definition of inimitable, it is one of my favorite words and the official definition is: Continue reading
