I was talking with a friend of mine whose little one started pre-K this year and she was talking about how she feels like she can’t get her kid to talk about school at all. The Ersatz Blog Post
Hi Friends!
Just a short post today to announce my semi-annual blogging break. Those of you who have been long time readers know that usually I go into my break with at least a blog post that includes plans for the break or my tending list for the month, but I’m even taking a month of from my beloved Powersheets to really focus on summertime with my kids before my oldest starts Kindergarten. My only goal for the month is to be as present as possible with my family and to not melt in the July heat!

Can I be honest with you? Less than a year ago I was TERRIFIED of weight training. But that started to change when I felt like I was totally stalled out on handstand progression in my yoga practice, and I was feeling a bit impatient… I knew I needed to strengthen my core, arms, and shoulders and that I needed something that I could do in smaller increments because #momlife wasn’t allowing me to attend a yoga class every day like I’d hoped- and this only intensified after I decided to train for a half marathon and almost all my focus went to running.
