March is done! Whenever Spring break falls always feels like a weirdly long and short month all at once. Maybe it’s the residual trauma of marking when the world shut down? Maybe it’s just the stage we are in with early school age kids? Here’s how my March went and what I’m focusing on for April: Continue reading

September Recap and October Goals
I love that we are getting into hiking season and cooler weather here in Phoenix! It is also Powersheets launch day!!! This always fills me with a little bit of hope that life goes on and reassures me that I’ll have a nice little personal retreat to reflect on priorities and what I want for the new year. If you want to go through Powersheets with me next year, you can order them HERE.
(The tending lists in the Powerhseets are more or less what shows up here in my monthly goal/recap posts but the magic of this tool is in the prep work and reflecting on what you want your big picture goals to be and why!)

August recap and September goals…
Hello September! AKA it is time for this fall flavor holdout to give into the pumpkin spice side of life and to hope for some mild weather so I can start upping my baking game. Here’s a look at how I did with last month’s tending list and what I’m focusing on this month: Continue reading

Saying Goodbye to Our Most Recent Home: A Love Story
I cried my contacts out the night we signed the paperwork for another family to purchase our house. Partially this was due to the stress of still needing to find our own next home in a truly insane real estate market with very little inventory, and partially because it was the beginning of the end of a very messy, imperfect, beautiful love story between our family and our home. Holidays: An Excuse to Make the Habitual Something Heartfelt
When I picked the theme for this year of Holidays, I did it out of a need for a little more joy and fun after how rough 2020 was. It is funny, this has been a weird year so far in which I am also feeling deeply the need to simplify some of the bigger holidays. Continue reading

March Wrap Up and April Goals
My monthly goal check in is here… It feels like March was both crazy slow and super fast all at once… maybe due to Spring Break? Anyway, here’s the update… Continue reading

Is it a New Year Yet?
Oh my goodness… I know I’m not the only one feeling like 2020 is this strange time warp of going so slow and yet being surprised by what day it is because in so many ways the ways we mark time have been interrupted or made unrecognizable. Continue reading
GOOD listening: A Week’s Worth of Podcast Recommendations
There are an ASTOUNDING number of podcasts out there. I recently had to go through my phone and resign myself to deleting a bunch in my queue that I know I will just never actually listen to… but in clearing out so many podcasts that aren’t serving me in this season, it gave me a chance to see which podcasts I truly love and will continue to listen to regularly. So I decided to share a few of my favorites with you today.
Continue readingFebruary Wrap Up and March Goals
Well, Just like that, even with the extra day this year, February just flew by! Probably because it was such an eventful month over here… so today I’m recapping my February tending list and providing an overview of what I’m focusing on in my Powersheets this March! Continue reading

2020 GOALS- Another G for the New Year…
Happy new year!! It should not be surprising to any long time readers that as we enter the year of Gs one of the focuses of this blog will be GOALS (Because hasn’t it always been a focus anyway?) I’ve finished my Powersheets prep for 2020 and I’m ready to share my goals for the new year! This year’s powersheets prep was a bit different as we know there is such a big change so early in the year. I tried to think of what it was like to do this prep work just before my second child was born but I must have blacked out that period of time because I have no memory of it whatsoever!
