Today’s post is a little different in that it is mostly pictures. The title is also completely accurate but also perhaps a bit misleading in that my days rarely look the same from one day to another. What I did was take one picture every hour I was awake. I’ve put brief descriptions but, mostly, I’m letting the pictures speak for themselves… Continue reading
Daughter and Family
Coffee & Jesus
So I don’t consider myself a “mommy blogger” even though I write a lot about my experiences with my family which includes my two children. I’m happy to know that I’m reaching lots of people who are not parents as well as fellow parents who may understand some of the specifically toddler or baby centered posts more acutely. In that same way, I don’t consider this a faith blog or specifically Catholic blog, but I will never shy away from the fact that I am a person of faith and that my whole lens of how I view the world is through the perspective of faith. But today’s post is going to be a little more direct than usual. Continue reading
The Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful of Breastfeeding…
I have to be honest with you, I started writing this post a LONG time ago. I almost posted several times but each time I got a bit self conscious and sent it back to the drafts section. But since this first week of August is World Breastfeeding Week, AND last month I hit my pie in the sky, didn’t think I could do it in my wildest dreams goal of six months breastfeeding, I thought it was finally the right time to publish these thoughts on my nursing journey. Happy August! Adjusting goals after my social media fast…
After a month of no new posts and only checking in more or less once a week on comments and social media sites, I am so excited to get back to blogging and to be more intentional about my time online and on my phone. I have a post I’ve been waiting months to share that will go live later this week, so keep an eye out, but in the meantime I’m ready to recap a bit of last month and talk about some new goals and focuses for this month: Continue reading
How To Not Lose Your Cool During an AZ Summer (especially as a one car family!)

Happy Father’s Day!
Happy Father’s Day! I thought I’d do something a little different this year and do a blog post that is not centered around my thoughts, so instead, Continue reading
How I Get Organized for the Week, plus JUNE Goals!
After my monthly goals post about my Powersheets, I had questions from a few friends about what this cool planner thing was and how it worked so I thought I would walk through how I get prepared for each week, including how the PowerSheets are different than my planner and how I use those two tools together! Continue reading
A letter to my son on his third birthday
I usually write these in scrapbooks or cards, or in our traditional birthday book each year… but I wanted to do something a little different for my not-so-little-anymore guy, especially with all the changes that happened this year so… Continue reading
Miracles: A Mother’s Day Reflection
I’m writing this a little early because this weekend is busy- (aside from Mother’s Day, it is also my five year anniversary so I’d like to focus on celebrating that and savoring time with my husband!) but also because my kids are somehow napping at the same time and I felt motivated to write so I thought let’s seize the day! Continue reading
New Month, New Years, New Babysteps toward my Goals…
It’s May! It’s May!
And in spite of that meaning triple digit weather here in Phoenix, it is tied for my favorite month. So I figured this would be a good month to give you a little more in depth look at my goals for the month and how I use my Powersheets! Plus, a sneak peek at the exciting things coming up this month.
