March is done! Whenever Spring break falls always feels like a weirdly long and short month all at once. Maybe it’s the residual trauma of marking when the world shut down? Maybe it’s just the stage we are in with early school age kids? Here’s how my March went and what I’m focusing on for April: Continue reading

February Tending List and a Peak at my 2022 Goals…
Every year I take some time in early December to do my Powersheets prep and look back at the progress I made that year and what I want to focus on during the next. I let all those ideas sit through the chaos of the holidays and revisit them the very end of December or early January to finalize my goals for the new year. Continue reading
My House is Alive with the Sound of Music…
Time to introduce my “I” theme for the year which once again happens to be my word of the year (just want to stress that just because this has been the case the last 2 years this is not always the case or how I pick my word of the year!). I bet you can guess it from the title of this post… Continue reading
HOW I Write Blog Posts as a Mom of Three
Mom Life is crazy. I knew that when I started this blog in 2015, a little over half a year into my journey of motherhood. Since then we’ve added too more little ones and while all three are precious, vital members of our family and we love them all so much… my husband and I have experienced a lot more chaos and a lot less free time with each kid we’ve added to our team.
So I thought it might be helpful to write a post about how I continue to write blog posts fairly regularly as a mom of three since I’ve had several readers (moms or not!) ask me about how the heck I manage to do that as well as a few more specific questions about my process. Continue reading

April was packed and FLEW by! we had a wonderful Easter celebration and were able to feel some sense of normalcy thanks to family having completed their vaccines and it felt so special. We also enjoyed every second of nice weather and mostly coped with the hotter spells… Here’s the rest of last month’s recap and a look at this month’s goals. Continue reading
March Wrap Up and April Goals
My monthly goal check in is here… It feels like March was both crazy slow and super fast all at once… maybe due to Spring Break? Anyway, here’s the update… Continue reading
2021 Goals, January Wrap Up, and February Tending List
Those of you who are longtime readers know that sometimes my goals for the year sync up nicely with my writing themes for the year. Other times they are fairly different and sometimes they are a good mix. So now that you know my H themes of Holiday, Heights, How, and Home, it is time to talk about what else I discovered in my Powersheets Prepwork and what goals I’ve set for the year. Continue reading

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
It is time to start revealing the themes of the blog this year. I can’t believe this is going to be my SEVENTH year blogging (my first “alphabet year” of A I wasn’t writing about it) so we are on the letter H.
My first H is my “word of the year” even though it is technically a phrase… it is a little bit of Italian from Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati and the translation of it… Continue reading
