Since I know I have some new readers from my affiliate work with the Cultivate What Matters shop, I thought it would be good to continue my jump back into blogging regularly with a nice little reintroduction. So first of all WELCOME! Here’s a basic rundown about who I am, where my blog name came from, and what you can expect to read about in these posts… Continue reading

2017: How I’m doing on my goals 6 months in- and plans for the second half of the year!
So I am definitely in that weird time flux of having a baby again and feeling like everything is going so fast and so slow all at once. On the one hand I can’t believe how much has happened in the last six months. It feels like much more time should have passed for all this to be possible. On the other I feel like it has been a complete whirlwind and I’m going to blink and it will be December. I’m guessing at least some of you feel the same! I just filled out my Powersheets for the month of July and before jumping into a few things there I wanted to celebrate some of the little by little progress that’s happened during the first half of the year… Continue reading
Dreaming Together
I’ve posted a few times this year about my own goals and dreams and how I am breaking down those goals month by month, week by week, day by day. In light of my anniversary a few weeks ago though, I wanted to post a bit about setting goals with your significant other. Continue reading
New Month, New Years, New Babysteps toward my Goals…
It’s May! It’s May!
And in spite of that meaning triple digit weather here in Phoenix, it is tied for my favorite month. So I figured this would be a good month to give you a little more in depth look at my goals for the month and how I use my Powersheets! Plus, a sneak peek at the exciting things coming up this month. Productivity does NOT Equal Fulfillmet
I don’t get a lot done these days. To do list items sit for weeks that used to easily get checked off in a day. I have to be very intentional when thinking about where I want to put any extra time or energy I might have, and some days that gets me down. But something happened that reminded me of the perspective I should be having about this time… Continue reading
2017 is 1/4 Over!
The end of March marks the end of the first quarter of the year as well. I feel so disoriented by that! I’m not sure if it seems like the year has gone by way too fast or if an entire year’s worth of events has happened in these three little months. Continue reading
2017: The year of Ds
So I already revealed a few of the Ds I’m focusing on next year: making or trying out new or special Drinks, bringing back Dating my husband as a priority, and the Ds that relate to my family- my boys whose names start with D and my DAUGHTER coming next month. I’m talking about my last areas of blog focus today and then I will probably be a bit quiet until the new year or a bit thereafter as we really focus on preparing for baby’s arrival! Continue reading
Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017…
I can’t believe the year is coming to a close… where did November go?! Continue reading
Cultivate Kindness
I don’t know about you, but 2016 has been rough for us. Exhausting, discouraging, full of hard work and lots of blessings too, but mostly we are looking towards 2017 and praying things feel a little less difficult. Or at least difficult in different, meaningful ways given that we have a newborn on the way… Continue reading
C is for Cultivate
WOW. We are somehow down to only two months in 2016. I am looking forward to cooler weather, upcoming holidays, and re-centering. This month I want to start focusing on cultivating the habits and values I hope to bring into 2017 and our growing family. I started cultivating some great routines last spring and then got majorly sidetracked after being so sick for so long and I am looking forward to trying to get back on top of them, while still knowing that I am going to be tired as I head into my third trimester and then probably even more tired the beginning of next year (though hopefully feeling better!!) Continue reading
