November Goals and October Re-Cap! (POWERSHEETS ARE HERE! )
WOW, So October really flew by between rehearsals and the launch of the 2019 Dated PowerSheets Intentional Goal Planner and Halloween celebrations… I kind of can’t believe we are several days into November! Here’s a quick recap of how my October goals went as well as what’s on my tending list for November. Continue reading

October Goals and September Recap
I know that traditionally this goes up during the first few days of the month, but I really wasn’t up for writing much more last week after my last post. Plus, I’ll be really honest, I was feeling a little hopeless and it took a few days for me to feel motivated enough to do my Powersheets goal refresh and prep work. I’m so glad I finally did though and I’m ready to get back on track with this month! First, though, let’s recap September… Continue reading
How I’m Doing on Goals Halfway Through 2018!
The year is officially halfway over and I’m ready to check in on how I did with my goals for June, what’s up for July, and a little more overview on the first half of the year. So let’s jump right in with a June recap: Continue reading
Cultivate What Matters: Finance Guide
When the Cultivate What Matters team announced their Summer Collection, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on their new Finance Guide. After the past few years being really difficult financially between medical expenses, my own lack of work with being so sick while pregnant and committing to nursing my daughter, and my husband’s former job being a toxic work environment, it has taken us a while to start to get back on our feet and it has been an exhausting journey that has made me want to throw in the towel sometimes. It has felt like the epitome of little by little progress to get out of medical debt- not even little by little, more often microscopic… so my husband and I were ready to dive in together and re-focus on our finance goals with this little guide… Continue reading

Today’s post is walking you through my tending list for June and holding myself accountable for what did and didn’t happen in May. Continue reading
Some Unconventional Mother’s Day Ideas (and some tried and true as well!)
Mother’s Day is on SUNDAY! When I told my husband what I really REALLY wanted for Mother’s Day he thought I was a little crazy. He thought I was even crazier when I told him I was willing to combine my birthday and Mother’s Day gifts for it. When I started asking around to see if I was indeed crazy, a few friends suggested I write a blog post about tried and true gifts as well as a few more unique ideas for Mother’s Day… and while it doesn’t exactly fit with my “E” themes for the year, many of the gift ideas are kind of inspired by “everyday” wants and needs. So, whether you’re a mom looking to share a bit of a :hint hint nudge nudge: with your children and significant other or someone who has a mom in their life that they want to show some extra love to this weekend… this post is for you. The joys of NOT entertaining
So… I had a wonderful and exhausting weekend. As I wrote about in my March Goals post, it’s. a yearly tradition for us to celebrate some of my close friends from undergrad coming into town for Spring Training games- a tradition we’ve termed “LOVEFEST” and which I look forward to every year.
