So… somehow this past year flew by and it’s time for me to celebrate another birthday. I don’t really know how to process the feeling that this was the fastest year yet, but Continue reading

How starting from zero changed everything….
I had an interesting conversation with a friend recently about my goal setting and how I stay motivated without burning out. There seem to be so many tips and tricks out there for setting and starting goals, but it becomes much harder when you hit roadblocks or realize you’ve jumped in so far so fast that you feel like you have nothing left to give. Entertaining Simplicity
You may remember a post last month where I talked about maybe giving up Entertaining as one of my “E” focuses for this year. I have done some more thinking about that and am really grateful for the feedback I got. Continue reading
Clearing the Digital Clutter- Inbox 0 and Emotional Health
If you read my post about my April Goals and Powersheets tending list, you know that I tried to reduce my number of goals and really focus in on a few big things this month. So without further ado: Continue reading
March Goal Recap, April Goals and Spring Refresh
I know it’s not quite the end of the month yet, but I had a little time today to do my Powersheets goal refresh and prep for next month and I wanted to write while that was still fresh, plus, I think I might be jumping on one of my April goals early so… let’s get started! Continue reading
The joys of NOT entertaining
So… I had a wonderful and exhausting weekend. As I wrote about in my March Goals post, it’s. a yearly tradition for us to celebrate some of my close friends from undergrad coming into town for Spring Training games- a tradition we’ve termed “LOVEFEST” and which I look forward to every year. Last year on All Saint’s Day I went through and listed out some of the Saints that had a particular meaning for our family. Continue reading
