I made some progress on one of my October goals yesterday and packed away my little girl’s 3 month clothes. At 8 months she has finally made the transition to size 2 diapers and size 3-6 month clothes. Truth be told, she could still totally squeeze into 3 mo. outfits but she’s getting a little long for them and we have new clothes just waiting to be worn in the next sizes. Continue reading

Happy International Babywearing Week!!
So I’ve written about babywearing on the blog before, but I wanted to take the opportunity of International Babywearing Week 2017 to give a little update on what it’s been like wearing now that I have two kids. Continue reading
Goal check in: 3/4 of the way through 2017! Plus, October goals….
WOW! Can you believe we only have 1/4 of the year left? To prepare for this post, I went and read back through my older goal recaps because I really wanted to think about the progress I’ve made throughout this year and what I want to focus on in this final push before I start re-evaluating goals for 2018 and moving into my year of “E”s! Don’t Live Like You’ll Die Tomorrow
I didn’t write much last week because it was a very hard one. I have been battling some anxiety anyway, and last week I found out a friend from college died unexpectedly. Continue reading
Everyday Acts of Faith
I’ve been a little slow about posting recently, but I’ve been putting a lot of effort into establishing new routines and habits and while that has been really good for my family and for me, Continue reading
Fall Family Bucket List
It doesn’t quite feel like fall here in Phoenix, but since the weather did at least give us the gift of temperatures under 100 degrees (and no current natural disasters… praying for all of you going through those and trying to rebuild!), I figured it was time to dream up a bucket list for the next few months… not sure we’ll do all of it and I am quite sure we will add to it, but it was sure a fun family activity to talk about this and get it started! Continue reading
September Goals
It’s that time again! Today starts a new month so this post is a recap of my August goals and a description of my September goals. So here’s a peek at my Powersheets tending list items. Continue reading
My Last First Date…
One of my regular readers (who also happens to be my sweet cousin!) asked me, after reading about some of my dating nightmares, what my first date with my husband was like. This post is a much belated response to that question… Continue reading
A day in the life…
Today’s post is a little different in that it is mostly pictures. The title is also completely accurate but also perhaps a bit misleading in that my days rarely look the same from one day to another. What I did was take one picture every hour I was awake. I’ve put brief descriptions but, mostly, I’m letting the pictures speak for themselves… Continue reading
Coffee & Jesus
So I don’t consider myself a “mommy blogger” even though I write a lot about my experiences with my family which includes my two children. I’m happy to know that I’m reaching lots of people who are not parents as well as fellow parents who may understand some of the specifically toddler or baby centered posts more acutely. In that same way, I don’t consider this a faith blog or specifically Catholic blog, but I will never shy away from the fact that I am a person of faith and that my whole lens of how I view the world is through the perspective of faith. But today’s post is going to be a little more direct than usual. Continue reading
