WOW! Can you believe we only have 1/4 of the year left? To prepare for this post, I went and read back through my older goal recaps because I really wanted to think about the progress I’ve made throughout this year and what I want to focus on in this final push before I start re-evaluating goals for 2018 and moving into my year of “E”s! Fall Family Bucket List
It doesn’t quite feel like fall here in Phoenix, but since the weather did at least give us the gift of temperatures under 100 degrees (and no current natural disasters… praying for all of you going through those and trying to rebuild!), I figured it was time to dream up a bucket list for the next few months… not sure we’ll do all of it and I am quite sure we will add to it, but it was sure a fun family activity to talk about this and get it started! Baking #33: Let the Fall Flavors begin!
So… the lesson I learned from this week’s baking venture is that it’s hard to bake when your stuff is in boxes and you aren’t quite sure where you put everything. I ended up using a pot instead of a mixing bowl to mix my dry ingredients. Continue reading
Baking #31: Happy Birthday Hubby!!
Today is my husband’s birthday. His birthday marks my favorite time of year for a couple reasons: 1. It’s the time of year when we the difference in our age is only one year instead of two (until we get back around to May!) and 2. it’s always the first sign for me that fall is just around the bend! So with that in mind… Continue reading
