It’s May! It’s May!
And in spite of that meaning triple digit weather here in Phoenix, it is tied for my favorite month. So I figured this would be a good month to give you a little more in depth look at my goals for the month and how I use my Powersheets! Plus, a sneak peek at the exciting things coming up this month. So… another year has gone by and it’s about to be my birthday again. This year was HARD. Continue reading
2017 is 1/4 Over!
The end of March marks the end of the first quarter of the year as well. I feel so disoriented by that! I’m not sure if it seems like the year has gone by way too fast or if an entire year’s worth of events has happened in these three little months. Continue reading
A Goal is a Dream…
I’m sure many of you have heard the saying “A goal is a dream with a timeline” or “A goal is a dream with a plan” and since it’s the new year and I promised I’d share a little bit more about my goals and dreams, now seemed like a good time to write this post. Continue reading

Budgeting: Focus on what you’re budgeting FOR
It’s a little embarrassing to admit that the first time I really put myself on a budget was when I was in grad school. Before that budgeting either didn’t exist because I didn’t have to worry about budgeting much more than how I would manipulate my school lunch allowance to get maximum amounts of coffee without passing out from starvation (I had a stressful high school experience) or just the general mantra of I don’t know how much I’m making or how much stuff costs but I live by the basic rule of nope I can’t afford that and make myself miserable.
